“Benefit for All — Becoming the Best Company for the World”

Since MacroHI first achieved B Corp Certification from B Lab in 2020, becoming a Certified B Corporation and a member of the international B Beauty Coalition, sustainability has been embedded in our DNA. It continues to drive MacroHI to expand its positive impact and foster a corporate culture that creates shared value for the world.

Participation is the best experience; action is the best communication. MacroHI’s sustainability culture is built through every opportunity to participate and take action, bringing our sustainability vision, “Inspire Life, Brighten the World,” to life. Sustainability is no longer just about what we say; it is an ongoing dialogue with our stakeholders about the environment and society.

“From 5 to 7: ESG”

B Lab Global, the organization behind the B Impact Assessment (BIA), is driven by the mission of “People using business as a force for good™.” In 2026, the B Corp standards introduced a new framework that retains the ESG foundation while expanding from five impact areas to seven.

Looking back on our four previous Sustainability Consensus Camps, each featured a unique theme designed to engage internal and external stakeholders through hands-on activities and shared experiences. Through volunteering, we ventured into nature, explored water resources, removed invasive species, discovered biodiversity, and experienced the principles of the circular economy through interactive challenges.

This year, we took a new approach: orienteering. By aligning the activity with the new B Impact Assessment standards, we set out to discover new possibilities for MacroHI’s sustainability initiatives.

  • 2022 | 1st Sustainability SDGs Consensus Camp

  • 2023 | 2nd Sustainability Volunteer Day — Water Circular Economy

  • 2024 | 3rd Sustainability Volunteer Day — Guardians of the Earth: Exploring the Cycles of Nature

  • 2025 | 4th Sustainability Consensus Sports Day — Circular Economy in Action

  • 2026 | 5th Sustainability Consensus Sports Day — B Going! Orienteering Adventure

At MacroHI’s internal monthly meetings, the simple phrase “From 5 to 7: ESG” has helped inspire sustainability action and transformation from within. This concept also became the driving force behind our fifth Sustainability Consensus Camp.

More than 180 stakeholders participated, including 40 external partners representing partner banks, suppliers, customers, NGOs, overseas distributors, and like-minded businesses. Gathering at Yuan Shan Arts Plaza in Taipei, participants formed teams and competed along a route connecting cultural heritage and natural landscapes. Through a series of challenges, they collaborated, explored, and discovered new perspectives on sustainability.

The event also recognized outstanding distributors from Poland, Hong Kong, and Malaysia. Meanwhile, the seven B Corp impact areas were transformed into seven interactive checkpoints, allowing participants to learn about MacroHI’s sustainability initiatives and achievements through hands-on experiences.

Orienteering: A Sustainability Adventure

Pick up a map, face the unknown, find your direction, lead your team, share responsibilities, and keep moving forward.

From bright sunshine to torrential rain, the journey tested participants’ resilience, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with guidance and support from professional orienteering coaches. Clues along the route brought the principles of the new B Corp standards to life, while route planning encouraged participants to explore different paths toward a more sustainable future.

Every drop of sweat and every brainstorming session became part of a shared experience, creating lasting memories of MacroHI’s sustainability journey.

The checkpoints offered a variety of challenges designed to bring sustainability principles to life.

The three-legged race represented the JEDI impact area, promoting justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. With participants facing different challenges—including limited vision, additional physical burdens, or restricted mobility—teams had to communicate proactively and support one another to reach the finish line. The activity demonstrated the importance of respecting differences and creating an inclusive environment where everyone can participate.

The Zero-Waste Loop Challenge represented the ESC impact area. Participants worked together to connect sustainability-related English words using letters, ensuring that no letter was left behind. The challenge brought the concept of zero waste to life through teamwork and creative problem-solving.

The B Corp Impact Ecosystem Challenge represented the GACA impact area. Teams had just three minutes to observe, communicate, divide responsibilities, and reconstruct a LEGO model. The activity highlighted how every individual can contribute to a team’s collective impact through collaboration and shared responsibility.

What Comes Next: Expanding Our Sustainability Impact and Going Further Together

Since 2025, MacroHI has been spearheading the development of the Taiwan B Beauty Coalition, embracing the principles of B Corp and taking responsibility for advancing sustainability across the beauty industry. By bringing beauty brands together, we aim to create collective impact that extends beyond individual companies.

AROMASE has built a strong network of 108 partner organizations through its scalp-care ecosystem, continuing to support overlooked and underserved communities through initiatives such as respite care services.

juliArt supports disadvantaged communities in rural areas through sustainability capacity building, local engagement, and charitable initiatives.

VEGANWELL embraces circular economy principles across recycled ingredients, sustainable packaging, and social initiatives. While caring for hands, the brand also cares for the environment and society, promoting cross-industry waste valorization and putting the principle of sharing value with the world into practice.

Every Sustainability Consensus Camp marks not an ending, but the beginning of the next chapter in MacroHI’s sustainability journey. We will continue to inspire lives and brighten the world through meaningful action.

B Going! Moving toward the new B Corp standards through orienteering, collaboration, and shared impact with our stakeholders.

Notes: Understanding the B Corp Impact Areas

JEDI — Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion

JEDI practices help remove barriers that prevent people from realizing their unique potential. When businesses work together to advance justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion, they can create safer, more inclusive workplaces and contribute to a fairer economic system.

ESC — Environmental Stewardship & Circularity

Businesses must assess their environmental impacts and take meaningful action throughout their operations and value chains to minimize those impacts.

GACA — Government Affairs & Collective Action

Businesses are expected to participate in collective action to promote and advocate for policies that deliver positive social and environmental outcomes. Large companies are also expected to publicly disclose country-by-country tax reporting.
